DESCRIPTION
The ASRA Audiometer is a third generation instrument which employs the
latest electrical circuitry, coupled with continually
developing software, to provide a unique range of facilities
in a user friendly package for progressive occupational health
professionals. Customer driven software upgrades are available
annually to expand the feature available and to ensure each
Asra is kept totally up-to- date. Installation and training
are included with UK deliveries at no extra cost.
THE MAIN PROGRAMME PROVIDES

Entry of subject information : Entry of operator comments :
Automatic testing in line with the BSA recommendations for
pure tone audiometry : Automatic, semi-automatic or manual
testing : Single or multiple pulse option : Storage of an
almost infinite number of results on disk : Recall of stored

THE UTILITY PROGRAMME ADDS
THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:-
Production of recall lists showing name, works number,
audiogram date and recall date, for any period in the future.
Production of test lists containing the same information but
based on a previous period and selected by audiogram date.
Selection of stored audiograms by date and category number for
printing out or statistical analysis.
Statistical analysis of
audiograms found during any search sequence by category with
the option to print it out e.g. annual statistics.
Production
of a "word" mail merge file containing audiogram
information selected by date and category to facilitate
referral documentation.
Trend analysis of individual
audiograms with results calculated on an annual loss basis
irrespective of the time interval between them. This is an
excellent way of highlighting those suffering from accelerated
hearing loss.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The full system comprises the Asra Audiometer with earphones,
patient response button, operator microphone, a PC and printer. The computer has to
be able to run windows 2000, XP or Vista and have a free
USB port. Any printer which is compatible with your PC's
operating system is suitable.
SYSTEM OPTIONS
The system can be supplied without the computer and printer if
you already have a suitable unit available. It is equally at
home with a netbook, notebook, desktop unit or networked system.
Printouts to any windows compatible printer, connected locally
or via a network can be accommodated.
